personal essay (the one you upload): double
the activities essay (the one you paste into the text box): single</p>

<p>sources? uh people on this forum? I think it’s just a personal preference. If it really mattered, they would put it in the instructions. For English classes at school, we’ve always double-spaced everything, so…</p>
<p>I’ve heard different things from different people…but one thing I’ve noticed…when you apply for colleges online…they have a sort of text box where they want you to insert your essay…</p>
<p>Even if you double space it while typing it…like in microsoft word or something…it always becomes single-spaced once you paste it in the text box…</p>
