<p>I submitted my application to Emory a few days ago and it said that they had downloaded it from Common App on 12/01. After I submitted my application, I added another teacher recommendation to my school forms thing and usually Emory downloads the rec in a few hours but it’s been almost 3 days and they still haven’t downloaded it? Is it because I posted it after I submitted my application?</p>
<p>They won’t be able to download it because you didn’t assign it to Emory before you submitted your common application. I think your best bet would be to send it through mail or e-mail so that they can add it to your application.</p>
<p>I did add it to my school forms before I submitted the application but the teacher didn’t start it until after the application was submitted. If I email and tell Emory about it, can they download it still or do I have to email the actual letter to them?</p>

<p>You are allowed to submit your online application before all your teachers or guidance counselors submit their school forms whether they choose to do so online or on paper. The Common App system allows school forms to be submitted even after the application has been submitted.</p>
<p>Before you submit your application, please follow up with your teachers and counselors to ensure they will be able to complete and submit a school form or recommendation prior to the school’s stated application deadline. You will not be able to make changes to the teacher/counselor list after you submit your application with the exception of resending the notification to your teacher or counselor.</p>
<p>If it doesn’t show up soon, I’d call Admissions and ask.</p>
