<p>No topic is good or bad in the abstract, or good or bad for everyone. A topic is good or bad for you if it allows for that revealing essay. That same topic could be bad for someone else.</p>
<p>Only you can know which topic allows for your best, most revealing essay.</p>
<p>These are very basic extracurriculars. Every kid will talk about being a gifted athlete or upstanding volunteer of society. It’s so dull for adcomms. Write about an activity that truly is unique and meaningful. One that really helped you bloom.</p>
