<p>The common app allows 57 words for the seven inquiries question even though the posted limited is 50.</p>
<p>Should I keep a response at 54 words, or should I cut it down.</p>
<p>Take the path of least regrets. Would you regret not including all the info you have in the 54-word version if you cut it down? Would you regret having more than 50 words if you didn’t cut it down and got rejected?</p>
<p>Frankly, I don’t think they’ll notice as long as your essay doesn’t stop mid-sentence or something like that.</p>
