<p>SO, I’m beginning to think my conflict with the common application’s main essay is extremely evident in my writing. Is it supposed to be more explanatory? Is there room for that knock-their-socks-off creativeness when I just need to relate pure facts concisely? </p>
<p>Personally, I think I can do better but I’ve cut this down so much (from over 1000), and figured I would discuss my experiences further in the supplements. </p>
<p>I’m applying to Duke, Cornell, Boston U, and SUNY-ESF as a sophomore transfer from a school in the UK. </p>
