Alright, so I’m a student looking to transfer to Beloit College. I’ve transferred universities before, from a Community College to KU back to CC due to an illness, and now back out. I’ve got several questions as all my previous Universities don’t require Common App.
I took one class in a CC before transferring to KU. I didn’t do that well, but it was a difficult class. (Korean) I obviously did well enough to get into the University, but KU and Beloit are a world apart in my opinion. Should I try to explain the grade or not? It was 2013, and I didn’t explain it in the essay. I explained my leaving KU in my essay by saying it was related to mold (it was) and that my reaction forced me home (it did) is this enough? I worry that it sounds like I’m blaming KU unnecessarily, but I’m not trying to. Should I change something?
