<p>Go to <a href=“http://www.commonapp.org%5B/url%5D”>www.commonapp.org</a> and register for an account. Complete all parts of the common app online including choosing an essay topic from the available topics and writing your essay, not to exceed 650 words. Add colleges you are interested in by searching for them and choosing them to be linked to your account. This will automatically load all the supplements for each college which you will submit online along with your common app. Most colleges have their own additional shorter essay topics to complete. </p>
<p>Report your scores where appropriate through collegeboard.org or ACTstudent.org</p>

<p>Also recognize that not all schools use the common app, so make sure you check the admissions page of the schools you are interested in.</p>
