Common App's #2 for UC's #2 ?

Would the 2nd Common App essay (Failure) be suitable for the UC essay that asks about a personal talent, accomplishment or experience?

My essay is about an event where I failed and learnt from it; I would like to know if that would work for the UC #2.

Common App #2 : The lessons we take from failure can be fundamental to later success. Recount an incident or time when you experienced failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience?

UC #2: Tell us about a personal quality, talent, accomplishment, contribution or experience that is important to you. What about this quality or accomplishment makes you proud and how does it relate to the person you are?

I am doing the same thing. I might just submit the common app version if I don’t have enough time but I think it’d be better if you change it a bit to show how you are proud of overcoming your failure. If you already have that “proud” element, you’re probably fine.

I would personally avoid doing this unless you literally do not have time to write another good essay. The problem is that the two prompts are actually significantly different and if you try to double dip improperly, you will end up with a sub-par essay.
