Common Ground House?

I was one of the ppl that got the mlk scholarship, so I have a few questions about housing they offered us:

Is the Common Ground House convenient for CAS?

Also, in filling out the application for Common Ground House, it says to include a brief essay detailing my involvement as a mlk scholar - do I just include the essay I used for my scholarship app?

Also, how are the dorms at the Common Ground?

thanks in advance!!

The Common Ground House is really convenient for CAS. A friend of mine lived there. Each room is different but they’re spacious and they have walk-in closets and generally more storage space than average dorm rooms. The residents were also really social and friendly.

The Common Ground floor is a regular floor in West.

Not sure about the application essay.

Do you know if your friend lived there as a frosh? would she recommend it? Do you think that freshman that get these scholarships end up living in the non-specialty housing? I don’t really want to get stuck with upperclassmen haha

She was a freshman and she liked it. Although most of the residents were sophomores and juniors, they were all really friendly and welcoming and they were like one big family. She wasn’t a recipient of the scholarship and didn’t apply for specialty OR brownstones. She got put there randomly. She actually applied for Warren her freshman year. Sometimes housing assignments are just… random.
