Common Solutions in AP Calculus AB?

<p>I’ve been taking Calculus AB tests for about a month now and I noticed some patterns in the test.
For example, there were a few integral problems where if you split the equation of the integral into two parts (meaning that the equation is a fraction and you split them), the integral became much easier to determine.
Also, there were some common tricks such as distributing a negative constant into an integral so that the a and b would switch .</p>

<p>I’m pretty sure there may be other general patterns in the test.
Can you guys post patterns that you guys noticed?</p>

<p>I guess your discovery could be a pattern, but it’s usually a concept most students learn. When I took the test I really didn’t need to split integrals as they were very straightforward. One pattern I found was the similarity of questions on the free response questions in comparison to previous years.</p>
