<p>I’m an IB student at a public high school. At my school, our IB co-ordinator serves as our guidance counselor in everything but name, and I’ve asked her to write my counselor rec (since she’s known me personally and essentially as my counselor since I was a freshman, I felt that she could give a more accurate assessment than my -actual- counselor, who has only been my counselor since last year and I see about once a year). However, this leads me to a question : on the commonapp, where it says ‘counselor name and title’, should I put in the name and title of my IB co-ordinator, or my school guidance counselor?</p>
