<p>I’m not a native speaker so i showed my commonapp essay to some of my foreign teachers and asked for some advices. I mainly wrote about two related experience to show how i learnt about cross-cultural communication.
but the thing is some teachers said i made the essay to “abstract”, and i’m “telling” the story but not “showing”. but the others said that it’s great, because writing a few things happened in time order showed how i’ve changed and improved myself… REAAAAAALLY CONFUSED >.< Dont know what to do… should i change the whole structure and write one experience with more “vivid details”?? HELP!!
