Communicating with Schools During the Application Process/Revisit Days

I would like to ask schools when their revisit days are. We usually travel during the kids’ spring break in late March/early April, but that seems to be when a lot of revisits are offered. We are trying to figure out if we can do a vacation. Would it seem presumptuous to ask schools their 2025 revisit dates before we even complete our application?

Highly so. If you must lock these dates, reverse engineer them from previous years as @NYMom139 wisely recommends.

Should we communicate to our two favorites that they are our top pick? We already sent our post-interview thank you notes a few weeks ago while we were still in the interviewing process and weren’t sure which school we would like best. So, we didn’t convey it in the thank you because we didn’t know then.

Absolutely let them both know where they stand. Just don’t tell each school it is your favorite when it shares that distinction with another.
