Communication arts?

I’m a freshmen and one of my classes is a honors communication arts A course. Comm A and B are required to graduate. Will this class count as a class that fits the enlish requirement for Premed/dental schools?

I highly doubt it.

No it will not.

How about a pre-modern literature course? On some websites of schools it says either English composition or compositon recommended. Are they more flexible with this stuff? Isn’t literature basically the same?
