Communication Schools in Philly

Which school has the best communications school? LaSalle, Temple, Drexel or St. Joe’s

I’m gonna say Temple, but compare YOUR net costs before you get your heart set on one or the other.

Penn State also has an outstanding communications school FWIW. You might want to look at doing a 2+2 (branch campus for two years and then on to University Park) there.

Seconding Temple, but OOS costs can be high.

I’d assumed the OP was a PA resident as all four schools inquired about are in Philadelphia.

@LucieTheLakie It’s okay! I did too, I was just telling them in case.

I can’t speak to the communication departments at these schools, but I would take a moment to consider which type of environment you personally think you would thrive in. Temple is a huge school, Drexel has a co-op program that works well for some people, and St. Joe is a mid-sized Jesuit university. Personally we were not comfortable with the area surrounding LaSalle when we visited a few years ago with my S so we crossed that off our list but that is a personal choice.

I do agree that cost is certainly a factor to be considered. And depending on your circumstances, you might consider expanding your search to schools outside of Philadelphia.
