<p>Hey, I was wondering if anyone with experience can tell me how transferring community college courses to a university worked out for their medical school applications. I’m a freshman at a university and would like to get my med school pre-reqs done within the first two years. I would like to take my science classes back to back, but university summer school is quite expensive. Community college has courses at a fraction of the price that will transfer to the university, but I don’t know generally how most medical schools would view doing science courses at a community college. I did call three medical schools today…University of Arizona, Baylor, and University of California San Francisco and they all told me that as long as the university accepts the credits, then they treat them exactly the same as the university courses.</p>
