Community College: Surprisingly Useful?

<p>Until now, there has been scarce research on community colleges, leading to the assumption that they’re less valuable than they really are, says one of the authors of a recent study.</p>

<p>Technical colleges are for job training. Some states have a two year community college system that acts as the general courses for a university/4 year college education. One needs to differentiate between the two. </p>

<p>Both types of post-secondary education may co-exist at the same community college.</p>

<p>And in fact do coexist in community colleges throughout the nation. </p>
