If I were to atttend a CC then transfer, would all my high school accomplishments be erased? (ie. nhs vice pres., sat scores, gpa, ec’s)
I was thinking I could attend CC for 2 yrs then transfer to william and mary to save a lot of money…
any advice ! ! ??

No, not at all. If you have spent two years at a community college your community college experience will get the most weight, but a strong high school record to go with it will only help you.

That is what I am doing. It depends on the university you transfer too. Some universities only look at community college grades and don’t consider high school grades at all after two years.

yes i agree, generally especially if you obtain your associates at the cc, they will not look at ur highschool transcript

Are you hoping for any financial aid from W and M? If so, make sure you check out their policies for FA for transfers. Many schools are not as generous with transfers so it is worth looking into.

Can people who go to CC transfer a university like Berkeley or Stanford?

a lot of med schools don’t like if you take ur pre reqs at ccs though :(

@xingfushunli If you look at the transfer requirements, meet them, and build a strong application, then you will be fine.
