<p>A fairly new program at Penn is the Civic Scholars Program which “offers undergraduates remarkable opportunities to engage in extra-curricular, volunteer community service and social advocacy work.”

<p>a lot of tutoring, teaching, soup kitchen / homeless person services…</p>
<p>When you arrive on campus, please visit the Civic House. They have a wide range of opportunities.</p>
<p>Penn has a series of academically-based community service courses; you can get credit while doing community service.</p>
