Community service hrs for aggravated assault count as volunteer work?

<p>I’ve been a convicted felon, but instead of serving time, I did community service for a local homeless shelter (45 hrs). Now would this count as volunteer work?</p>

<p>lol that question just made my day. If he legitimately applied and legitimately has a criminal record…that’s the 3rd person I know applying to Chicago with a criminal record (I’m not kidding lol…2 kids from my school are applying with a criminal record).</p>
