<p>So how big of a deal is it to send in a letter of an event you were one of the coordinators of. The event raised several thousand bucks for a charitable organizations and was sponsored by some big name corporations. The event was only 3 hours long.</p>

<p>How big would it be if we got some press (city paper, county paper, and the state paper) on it (which we should…we have hook ups)?</p>

<p>Is that impressive enough that it can make a somewhat rejected application…to a let’s really consider him/her?</p>

<p>I know that it’s good to send them a letter (and even a copy of the article in the newspapers), but how will it affect my admissions? by how much?</p>
