<p>Galen Center was crowded with community residents who came to see and hear about the plans for USC Village. The village will be adjacent to the SC campus and will serve students as well as residents of the area in three million square feet of mixed use retail and residential space.</p>
<p>Artist renderings of the village were available to be viewed. USC Village will feature a town square with fountain, hotel, shops, large grocery store, sit down restaurants and some student housing. Discussions with Trader Joe’s are underway. The village will be located at Jefferson Boulevard and Hoover Street. First phase of the complex is expected to be completed by 2015.</p>
