I got into fordham with a $ 7,000 per yr scholarship and 7,000 per yr financial aid but it still isnt enough money. How does commuting affect the social life? Will i really miss out on the college experience?

I hope you meant commuting grant (not scholarship).

Commuting is not that bad as you might think. Where are you commuting from?

You WILL NOT miss out on the social life on campus. There is a multitude of clubs and organizations you can join on the Wednesday and Thursday activity blocks. Additionally, you can join CSA (Commuting Students Association) to help build a better commuter atmosphere. Please attend Metro Day this Friday at LC (if you were accepted to LC). The good thing about LC is that you have activities that encompass both populations (LC is 50% commuter and 50% resident).
I can’t speak for RH, since the ratio is a bit different.

I hope this helps.
