Comp 2270 Retake?

Hey Everyone,

Should I retake a 2270 Comp Score?

720 CR 780 M 770 W

I know i can get my Math to an 800 if i try hard enough ><
I’m aiming for an Ivy-level school.

A Rumor, but do Ivys really only take 2300s up generally?

Thanks Everyone!

I got 750/780/760 and I think I might retake just the math sections to get an 800 cause I really want one haha… but just for score? No. The Ivy thing sounds like ********.

how do you JUST take the maths section again? don’t you have to retake all of it?
and isnt the 2200s pretty fine? i think now it really matters on your gpa and essays?

happyhunter… i got the exact same score (All three sections) and I’m thinking about retaking to improve cr, but i’m not sure either… but you should be fine for Ivy’s, because 2270 is in the top 50% (admitted) for every ivy at least.

Will it hinder an acceptance? Eh, maybe not. However, if you’re the type of person to ask “what if” I would suggest retaking. I retook a 34 ACT, even though my parents and friends thought I was crazy. In April, I don’t want to look at my rejection letters and ask myself if things would have turned out differently if I had tried the ACT one more time. Maybe I still will get rejection letters - but at least I will know I did everything I could. Just my two cents
