Comparing Cornell?

Hi,

I am a female junior from southeast Georgia, ranked 1 out of about 400. 4.0 UW, 4.7 W. 8 APs by graduation. Strong in athletics: cross country, basketball, and track: the Jacksonville, Fla’s Channel 4 News High School Athlete 2009-2010). ECs include National Honor Society and Beta Club(11th- Prez) (10th- community Service Organizer). Junior Advisory Council (11th- Prez) (various community activities), HOSA (11th- Prez) (10th-VP), FCA (Icebreaker Leader to coordinate school meeting and community events), Model UN (rep team as World Health Org delegate since I am passionate about global public health). I have also attended NYLF on Med at Emory UNIV, received 3rd place in their national public health competition for my hIV/AIDS Awareness proj, and currently competing in the YES Epidemiology comp. with an H1N1 project. over 600 volunteer hours with two locals nursing homes to get experience with nursing (will be a CNA soon) and public health. ACT: 32. Also, what are my chances of getting into either school?

Truly looking into 2 great Biochemistry programs: one found at Cornell and the other found at Ga Tech. Also, looking into public policy, which both schools have. Since I understand that both schools are nationally ranked for great academics, I really aspire to continue track in college. It is just frustrating to choose between two competitive schools that fit me except one is in my home state while the other is in another state but is an ivy. I know that should not be a sole reason to go to a school and it’s not one of mine, but I am not sure if a degree from one school would weigh over the other in the process of job searching for of public health, research, and government. Also, Cornell is a wonderful school and I do not want to miss out on great things, yet Ga Tech has it many greats as well. May I get some help please???
