<p>I have been researching the school I am applying to, and I keep wondering if I can chance myself more easily/calm nerves by comparing my own stats to school medians. But is this actually the least bit accurate?</p>
<p>For example, if a schools average ACT score is a 32 and I have a 34, can I be reasonable in thinking that I have a better shot than the acceptance rate claims?</p>
