I am trying to decide between CMU and WMU, as they are two best schools that I have gotten into. I am still waiting to hear from a deferral school(fingers crossed), but for now, I need to decide between CMU and WMU. I am a person who wants to enjoy college. This means the town, stuff to do,people, etc matter to me along with the overall picture. That being said, please help me decide between these two very good schools please! I appreciate all help!!</p>

<p>Western is more party but also more respected in most programs. So i’d rather go to western I think.</p>

<p>No drastic differences in the schools themselves. The city of Kalamazoo has more going on than Mt. Pleasant. Kzoo is also close enough to Chicago that going there for a weekend is pretty easy. If you like skiing, CMU is within a couple hours of Michigan’s best skiing.</p>

<p>WMU all the way, it has a better city atmosphere, and much better academics. However CMU has the girl guy ratio going for it- 11-14 compared to 25-25…</p>

<p>11 guys to every 14 girls and 25 guys to every 25 girls. Though should of reduced to 1 guy per girl for wmu.</p>
