Compensating for lack of math classes.

I just wanted to ask that is is ok if I self study AP Calc and SAT II Math II by hiring a math tutor instead of taking 11th and 12th grade math at high school because in my country, you need to choose between biology and math for the 11th and 12th grade and I chose biology.</p>

<p>Yes. But for AP Calc, you need to study and take the test jr year so that schools can see your test score when you apply. If you do it during sr year, you take the test after decisions have been made, and colleges have no way to verify that you’re learning the material.</p>
