<p>at the beginning of the year, during welcome week, is an event called unolympics in which the six colleges compete for the “golden shoe”. this is mostly a spirit / team building activity doing dances, cheers, and such, but it is cool to watch the competition.</p>

<p>UCSD needs football… This sucks, i was hoping to enjoy the football and team spirit atmosphere in college, but theres almost none in SD. All those “cheers and spirit stuff” at SD seems really superficial and fake to me.</p>

anyway…it’s still a nice idea, we can still form student sport teams and play against each other :]</p>
<p>Unolympics and Spirit Night. Spirit Night is when things get really crazy because colleges compete to see who has the most school spirit. During Spirit Week, it is amusing to walk to the six colleges and see what ways each one has decorated themselves.</p>

<p>TienIsCoolX: There is no IM badminton. You’ll have to join the UCSD badminton team or just play during open gym.</p>
