<p>I am currently in cornell eng and from nyc. My dad had a stroke recently and things are going badly at home so I was thinking of transferring to a school in nyc, and columbia would be perfect.</p>
<p>I just had a question: Do you think the courseload engineering multivariable, engineering chemistry, intro to engineering and freshman writing seminar is competitive compared to current freshman at columbia?</p>
<p>Should I take a physic mechanics and thermo instead of writing seminar? Or should I just aim for a high gpa with the courses I stated above?</p>
