To those who are familiar with this proposal, I have the following question.

Why, if such a theory was established, would it mean that the theory itself would determine its own outcome, and on a grander scale, our particular actions?

Any ideas?

string theory

Does it have to mean that? I thought that the “unified” meant it unified the four fundamental forces.

Because it would provide a simple framework on how EVERYTHING works.

I thought that quantum mechanics still requires a certain degree of randomness? Or maybe I don’t know what I’m saying.
