Comprehensive fee - meal plan forever?

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I didn’t give this much thought until now - does a college with a comprehensive fee mean you are required to stay on the meal plan and live on campus all 4 years? If this is true then why do the colleges have suite style living with kitchens? Are there any options? does this also mean there are no meal plan options such as full meal plan, limited meals, etc? </p>

<p>Anyone have experience with this?
