Computer Engineering- take other classes?

Ok… so I have full tuition, books, + $250/month stipend if I major in computer engineering at UC Irvine/Davis…can’t change that at all.

My only problem is, while I’m pretty sure I’d do well, I wouldn’t find it very exciting. Is it feasible to take interesting classes(to me, history, poli sci, philosophy, psychology) without being slammed with a giant workload? I’d love to take courses in the above categories just for the sake of learning… but not at the expense of no sleep/social life. Anyone w/ any input?

I don’t know how Irvine/Davis does it, but most schools require you to take a certain number of humanities courses, of which you are flexible enough to choose.
