How is Penn State’s computer engineering program?
It’s the only major Penn State is not in the top 23 for according to USNews 2008

I want to decide between Chemical Engineering and Computer E at Penn State, which would you recommend?

If you are only applying now to PSU you don’t have to commit to a particular department. Once you are enrolled in the college of engineering there will be information sessions at which you’ll have a chance to talk to students and faculty from the different departments and other opportunities to learn more about the work you might do as a grad of he different programs and to have questions answered. You might also take a freshman seminar offered b a department that inerests you. Most engineering students are accepted into their programs after sophomore year.

do you know how good there computer engineering program is though?

In terms of what? Like you said the ranking doesn’t seem to be as high as other depts…but I doubt that if you keep your grades up youll be able to find a job/get into grad school. Quite a few companies recruit from here.

Im a CS in the CSE dept. and I have had good classes and bad ones.
