Computer Equipment Recommendations

<p>What computer equipment recommendations would you advise for incoming freshman? Obviously, a laptop, but beyond that, would you recommend bringing a laser or inkjet color printer, a monitor, useful software apps, security software, add-ons etc? Any info would be greatly appreciated.</p>

<p>D used a laptop all four years - along with docking bay and monitor. You just need an OS on the laptop.</p>

<p>As for printing, D had a printer but used her allotment of pages at the computer lab, especially for her senior thesis.</p>
