<p>I’m coming in as a transfer student and am trying to decide if I need a laptop to carry around with me. To be honest, I’ve never really used a laptop IN class, and don’t plan to. But, my schedule is a bit crazy this year and it might be nice to have a laptop to do homework in between my classes. At my junior college we had a computer lab with maybe ~200 computers where students did work, surfed the web, or just played games.</p>
<p>That being said… I felt that this was perfect because if I needed to do work, I could just bring my USB stick around with me. Do they have computer labs for students at UC Davis? And, since campus is quite large, are there multiple computer labs?</p>
