<p>Hi everyone. I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to include a link in my application to a computer program I am currently working on. The program is quite a ways from being complete, but it does have a website (portablepicture.sf.net) and there is a (very limited) pre-alpha version available for download. I wrote about computer science and the role it has played in my life in one of my essays, and I did mention this program. I guess I was just wondering if it will be seen as a bad thing in the eyes of the admissions officers that it isn't finished and downloaded by hundreds/thousands/millions of people?</p>
<p>Would anyone like to share their opinion? If it matters, my essay also talks about how I taught myself to program computers without help from anyone (I live in a small town - Nobody programs anything but an alarm clock here).</p>
