Computer Science AB

In Princeton’s “What are you likely to pursue” there is no Computer Science, only Comp Sci AB. What does the AB stand for?

Thanks

It’s the Advanced Placement Computer Science course (that actually isn’t offered anymore - there’s only Computer Science A).

“Advanced Placement Computer Science course” To an international that makes no sense  (No idea what is up with AP’s) Basically it is comp sci though?

No no no, it’s not talking about the Advanced Placement course. Don’t worry about that, Idiosyncra3y.

There are two degrees you can get at Princeton for your undergraduate studies: a bachelor of arts (A.B.) or a bachelor of science in engineering (B.S.E.).

For computer science, you may elect to get either degree. (i.e. Computer Science A.B. or Computer Science B.S.E.)

Here’s a link: [Undergraduate Program of Study :: Princeton Computer Science](http://www.cs.princeton.edu/academics/ugradpgm/program)

Another prime example of why people who don’t actually know what they’re talking about shouldn’t answer questions.

^agree
I just hope our OP hasn’t already signed his soul away to taking AP Comp Sci AB for the next four years of his life /:

Do I hear… infinite loop?
