I am a senior in high school looking to study either computer science or business in college. I’ve already applied to:
Tulane
Georgia Tech
UT-Austin
Texas A&M
Indiana University
Illinois University @ Urbana-Champaign

I am going to apply to:
Stanford (Maybe, would do it just to try)
Michigan
Washington University in St. Louis
Vanderbilt

Here are my “credentials”:
Rank: 16/300+
GPA: 4.2
ACT: 35 Composite, 36 Super
Debate 4 years, many awards freshman year
Soccer 4 years, varsity senior year
Symphonic Orchestra 3 years
NHS Treasurer
STARS: Summer research program
Peer Teacher: drug free program at my school
Mu Alpha Theta
National Merit Semi-finalist (finalist pending)
Decent volunteer work

What other schools do you suggest I apply to and why? Also, what are my chances at the schools I did apply to? I’m also from St. Louis Missouri and have a brother at Washington University.

University of Washington - Seattle
The UW Foster School of Business is a Highly Ranked school, and should be on any list for Business. See the link below for more information.

The computer science program at UW - Seattle is incredibly competitive as well, and you may want to look into that as well. Best of luck to you.

You should check out lehigh’s Computer Science and Business integrated honors program (CSB)…it’s a very rigorous but impressive program that has produced some amazing results.

Your stats are within the range of University of Pennsylvania – excellent CS program, exceptional Business School. Penn is very selective although not quite as much so as Stanford.

You have a bro at WashU. Will your family qualify for aid with two in college? if your family will need aid to help with college, then some of those OOS publics probably will be a problem because they’re not going to help you with the OOS costs.
