Hi there! I am very interested in CS major, programming for 4 years. Now, after all tests, documentation and other I choose some universities for CS. What do you think? My SAT General 2200, Math level 2 800, History US 750,waiting for Chemistry :). 4 years work-experience, own-business, websites, blogs. Everything in Russian Federation and Kazakhstan.
Here universities:
Purdue
WPI
Rensselaer polytechnic institute
Upenn
Umich
University Of Chicago

Thanks a lot!

Those are all very good univs. Your stats are competitive.

Will your parents pay for these schools or do you need aid? If you need some aid, how much can your family pay each year?

Em no, we will pay for four years. Thanks a lot, for quick answer ;)

You’ll almost surely get accepted into 3-4 of those schools.

Perfect, thanks a lot ^__^!!! I just dying now, common application always freezing and don’t want accept my application.

WPI and Purdue are the same in CS major ? I mean, in program?

If your test scores are legitimate and you have a high GPA (I don’t know) you may want to reach a little higher and apply to Stanford, UC Berkeley, and Carnegie Mellon since you seem to be interested in computer science…

Ok, GPA, hmm we haven’t got it in my school, but its 5.0/5.0. I don’t really think, that they will be so interesting in my grades. I just graduated average public school as a valedictorian with some specific certification :)

That’s nothing to pass up. Regardless, there’s nothing bad saying you had a perfect grade and were the top of your class.

Ok, I will ask my teachers and counselor to write more about me :). Thanks guys, I appreciated.

Did you take the TOEFL?
That’s about the only thing that would hold you back from being accepted at several of your schools.

Yep, 118. It was harder than SAT for me, Speaking section was awful, because I have strong russian accent.
