Hi here are my stats, what are some schools that I could get a strong computer science degree at

GPA ~ 3.2
SAT - M(700) R(660) W(610)
Cost is a large factor (Though dont let this be the only thing you consider)
The rest of my transcripts (EC’s, essay, rec’s) are SOLID.

I’m interested in a school with a relatively large party scene and one with well…not an 8:1 male to female ratio

yeah i noticed haha thanks for the list, 2 of those are already on my current list (Washington and Purdue) ((notice the other 3 are nerdy schools with like 80% men :D))

I dont’ know if going to a school just for high academic strength in comp sci is a factor to consider. I mean its a good to consider but are you sure computer sci is what you really really REALLY desire to study?

Oh and depending on where you live, if you live in Indiana, you will benefit from Purdue’s In state tuition but other wise you’re going to have to pay 3 times the tuition unless you have a reason to become a resident.

mrego, she said she wants to go to a school with large party scene and good male/female ratio.

Add University of Illinois though i’m not sure what GPA they required. You can try to get in as an undecided and raise your gpa to get in perhaps??

im a dude >.<
I dont think theres any way i can get into UIllinois their engineering program is as competitive as most of the ivies. yeah i thought about about to Ullinois under there math/compsci program which wasnt in their engineering department and then try and transfer in…i dont think its the best idea, i think going to the best college that i can for 2 years under comp sci and trying to transfer out if i dont like it would be better but definitely thanks for the great ideas; definitely not discouraging it :D
