computer science video game writer

Does anyone know of a good bachelors level program that would send a student into a career for video game writing?

A google search will point out a few, though any cs program complimented with good internships will work.

You should definitely research that career, though. It sounds fun, but it is a hellish way to spend you first few years out of college.

Any decent CS degree program should do. In addition to the usual important CS courses in algorithms/complexity, operating systems, networks, software engineering, security, and databases, take some CS electives in graphics, artificial intelligence, and user interfaces, and other electives in art and physics (mechanics).

However, be prepared for the possibility of doing other CS jobs at graduation, because there may be few game jobs relative to the total, and game job reality may not be as awesome as the dreams of many high school students.
