I am a computer science major with 2.9 gpa at a cc. I am also an international student. I got 2 failed eng class which i think will be replaced soon because i took a clep test. So, my GPA might slightly improve.
What are my chances of transferring to suny buffalo, suny Binghamton and U Maryland Baltimore county?
Since my grades are below average ,what are some of the colleges i can transfer?
How much can you afford to pay?
I’m thinking there are places like Pittsburg Tech or Illinois Institute of Technology where you might have a shot. With your low GPA and international status, there isn’t likely to be any financial aid, however.
Your community college may give you credit for a good CLEP score, but I don’t think it will change your GPA.
So, i took college composition for clep, which i am hoping that college will replace my eng 101 class because i got 57 on the test. They said they give eng 101 + 3 more eng elective credit, if i get 50 or more in clep. My range is around 25000 for tuition and fees. I am also not expecting any form of financial aid.
