Computers @ bookstore

I sometime use printers at the bookstore when I’m shopping if I don’t want to go all the way to Leavey. It’s really convenient that I don’t have to log into any of the computers but I don’t understand how they charge the users if there is no login process. Does anybody know how this happens?

My sense is those computer stations are there to allow students to look up their semester book list and print it out before venturing to the textbook floor. I don’t think they are intended to provide free printing for things unrelated to the bookstore. As you noted, the computers are unlocked and do allow for free printing without a login.

I imagine you can get away with printing the occasional document, but I certainly wouldn’t go there to print a term paper’s worth of research.
