Computers for college..

<p>just wondering, where are you guys thinking of getting your laptops if you don’t already have one…</p>

<p>my mother is persistent on useing dell… :S and i have no idea why… i’m not doing anything crazy with it… maybe watch a few movies, if i were to take Comp Sc, maybe i’;ll use it to run programming languages, and maybe things like X-Steel and AutoCAD things like that… </p>

<p>any suggestions on what type of computer to get? I want to get a good one so i can use it for at least 4 years…</p>

<p>I would wait unitl you know where you are going and then find out what hardware/software your campus supports. If you gO to the Mac, PC thread should you decide to attend Dartmouth, it will tell you about computing at Dartmouth and what they support.</p>
