Computers
There are so many wonderful options available for very little money. I use to be a totally Mac user through macbooks. When I moved from public education to college teaching, I had to use whatever came to me. Personally, I found I really liked Toshiba laptops. Recent!y, I wanted a desktop with a big screen and chose my beloved Acer. When I want to move away from my desk, I use Kindles. I have been through many generations and all except one are still alive. My old ones are designated for games, books, etc. and information spans the group. Amazon has just come out with a new generation of HD 7 or 8 inch. My 7 inch is backed in yellow and quite spiffy. I already have the little thing to expand memory. My 8 inch will be tomato red. It’s very convenient to have them lined up by color and\or case in a small area. There are free programs !ike office.you can also do email. Personal!y, I would not spend big money on Macs and such. I like having an assortment of Kindles that are cheap enough to add or upgrade as desired.
When I want to use a large machine in the library or computer lab, I use thumb drives and have then in colors or marked to indicate content theme. There is quite enough kinds of cords, ports, and sizes to conveniently store and move data around.
