I always wonder to myself, If I put in my integrated whole of consistent effort toward my school career, will I achieve acceptance to my Dream School? Frankly, this question is what stops me from trying.

Answer: No
because you need to be well rounded! Colleges don’t look for the smartest kid that sits in their room all day studying, but a smart student who is actually active! If you only concentrate on school, most likely you won’t get into your dream school.

No. It is not the effort that matters, it’s how well you understand the material provided to you. You can put in huge amounts of effort making nice little index cards and color-coding all your notes, but it probably won’t actually help you get good grades (unless you’re that kind of person). Of course, if you know where to direct your effort, you have a much better chance of getting good grades/scores/etc. And if you use tricks picked up from this board, you can get EC’s that’ll make you stand out from the crowd.

Fizix’s comprehension of the school system is outstanding, kudos to you my friend.

but what if you were a student that was well rounded and you werent the dumbest kid? i mean then your well rounded you just dont have the brains. right? like what if you were well rounded and average when it came to studies?
