Concert Ticket Prices

So Toto - which is Steve Lukather, Christopher Cross, and Men at Work which is just Colin Hay - are here Friday.

I was indifferent on going and thought we’d decide Friday.

There’s only a handful of tix on resale - many hundreds of $ - even the grass is $85+ resale - sold out regular -depending on the website. Regular price was $52 so if we decide to go, I’ll hate myself. The day b4 in Charlotte, they are $38.

Maybe their amphitheater is bigger. Ours holds 6800.

I wouldn’t have thought this lineup would be in demand. Maybe because it’s Friday. Rod Stewart still going the night b4 for $49.50. I’d think he’s the bigger draw.

Crazy how Duran Duran they put us 5th row to fill the unsold - for free. We paid $30. Yet they sell out MSG.

It’s hard to figure. But like suggested here will keep watching and maybe hit the office Friday.

Still hoping James Taylor goes less but they are going up. I can afford it but last I saw him, he’s a snooze. Great musician but not energy.

I’ve only been to a handful of concerts in my life. I guess I’m lazy and haven’t made the effort. My husband is not good about planning ahead and it seems for concert tickets you have to be on your game.

I have several friends who usher at our local small venue. as they move up in the volunteer group they get better picks for scheduling and location. If you’re taking tickets you miss the beginning of the shows. I think several of them are ushering for Paul McCarthy.
