<p>I am a veteran Spring TAG transfer student from Mesa majoring in cognitive science w/spec in neuroscience also doing pre-med.</p>
<p>I was told that as a transfer student I might be allowed to be part
time my first quarter (Spring) which I figured would allow me to take
classes at Mesa College. The semester starts Jan 26th. I am registered to
take an intro to chem class(CHEM 152 @ Mesa but 4. Basic Chemistry at UCSD)
that would allow me to take Chem 1(6A. General Chemistry I) at UCSD
in Summer or Fall whichever was available first, because I never took chemistry in HS I doubt UCSD would let me start at 6A.</p>
<p>I will also retake a pre-calc class(Math 141@Mesa) that I earned a non-passing grade in during Fall 2007. This would allow me to take calc 1 for science majors (Math 150@Mesa or 10A@UCSD).</p>
<p>I’m not sure what my options are as far as simultaneous enrollment and how to recognize credit.</p>
