Hi, I just received my TAGresponse from UCSC (UC Santa Cruz) and was conditionally approved:
"Congratulations! Your admission to UC Santa Cruz for fall 2017 through the Transfer Admission
Guarantee (TAG) Program is conditionally approved.
Remember that you must submit the UC undergraduate application no later than November 30, 2016 for
fall 2017. If you make any changes to the course work you originally listed on your TAG application, be
sure to include them on your UC application. In addition, beginning in mid January, you will be
required to update your course information via the online UC Application Update. Changes to your course
work will only be reviewed when our campus evaluates your fall 2017 UC application for admission.
All in-progress and planned course work must be completed with grades of ‘C’ (2.0) or better, unless higher grades in
specific courses are required for your intended major.
Your approved TAG includes a guarantee of your proposed major, provided all courses listed as in-progress
and planned are completed as indicated on your TAG application. Changes to your course schedule for
major foundation requirements will void your TAG agreement. To review the requirements for your major
visit http://admissions.ucsc.edu/apply/transfer-students/tag.html.
For more information on course preparation and selection criteria for your intended major, refer to the
majors and courses information at http://admissons.ucsc.edu/discover/majors.
Learn more about UCSC by visiting the campus or viewing our web site: www.ucsc.edu.
We hope you will join UCSC’s incoming transfer students for fall 2017, and don’t forget to file your UC
application no later than November 30th!"
This means my TAG was approved right…? Is there a difference between a normal approval and a conditional approval?
Or should I prepare myself in case my application gets revoked for no reason?
